Update!

There has been alot happening in the Ames family since 2017. Let's not worry about the gap of time but I will bring us up to date as best as possible.

We will start with the kids and grandkids (there are 8 now and 2 more coming soon!)

McKelle and Casey live in St. Johns AZ with their family of 5. Brigden, Kyler, Austin, Brooke, and Carter

Jordan and Marin live in Tucson with their 2. Lucy and Porter

Jacie and Kevin currently live with us as they are awaiting their new home to be completed. They are expecting their first child in June.

Kamrie and Chandler live in Utah with Layla and are expecting a new little one in May.

Torie is engaged to Justin and they are getting married in April.

Leisa is a super all around grammy! She takes cares of us all!

Carl still has that crazy Parkinson's Disease. It hasn't went away!

Another revival for Sam the YAM!

Somehow Sam got put on the back burner and went into a deep sleep and decided to come out and see what was happening. It's been quite awhile since he has done entry entries to this blog and its high time he got to it.

Fast forward to March 2021.

As for the world scene we are experiencing the COVID 19 Corona virus pandemic. Back in March 2020 the world changed. A new flu virus originating in Wuhan China spread around the world and caused major changes to our lives. It is a very contagious flu strain so it could easily be transmitted from person to person. Millions of people have died. We have been quarantined, if you were not considered an essential worker you were required to stay home. Many businesses have had their employees working from home which has proven to be very doable. Schools were forced to close and students required to do virtual learning from home. Parents had to do more juggling of their time and schedules to accommodate this. Gyms, restaurants, movie theaters , water parks, bars, sporting events, and other public venues were either closed or limited in how many could attend. Churches were stopped for awhile but eventually we were allowed to congregate with requirements. Social distancing, six feet apart, wash your hands, stay home, became the new phrases. We have been required to wear masks while in public. There has been a huge supply of different styles of masks become available.
