I was out taking care of the chickens this morning and watering the garden and looked down and found my first egg..............egg plant!

wow! I was really impressed. Before I read the caption - I just saw the picture, and I actually had to think to myself, "what kind of chicken lays a shiny black egg?!" and "I thought they were still just babies?"
You can easily be fooled Nicole if you don't read the fine print! I went to work today and told a friend that I got my first egg, and she got all excited, and of course I played it up, and she asked what color it was and I said purple, and she said "really"?, then I had to tell her it was a egg plant, and so I got her good.
