I do very much enjoy that you have posted these pictures of NY (and of Elder Ames, as well!) When you tell most people that you are from NY, they ASSUME that I am from Times Square! That is the only image that people have for the whole state of NY, I know better, however. The place that I am from looks similar to those pictures!
What part of NY are you from? I would enjoy seeing if I can find some pictures. When we went on our family trip back east I loved the scenery, the green, the trees, the barns, etc. It is beautiful, and you are right, it's just not Times Square and big city.
Ah, you're making me homesick. I would love to go back to New York someday. I lived in Rochester, NY as a little kid. All that green!!! It's so beautiful!!!
Jeanette, it really is beautiful isn't it? I can't wait to go there after Jordan gets home. I love the green, the trees, the old barns, the look of the houses. Thanks for commenting.
